Author Guidelines
Submission Process
The Journal of Science, Society and Language welcomes original research articles, review articles, short communications, and book reviews that have not been previously published and are not under consideration elsewhere.
Journal Submission is open throughout the year. Journal will be published twice a Year (June & December)

Article Types
- Research Articles: Original empirical or theoretical research (4,000-8,000 words)
- Review Articles: Critical synthesis of existing literature (5,000-10,000 words)
- Short Communications: Brief reports of significant findings (2,000-3,500 words)
- Book Reviews: Critical evaluation of recent publications (1,000-2,000 words)
- Case Studies: Detailed analysis of specific cases (3,000-6,000 words)
Manuscript Preparation
File Format: Microsoft Word (.docx) or PDF format
Language: Manuscripts should be written in clear, grammatically correct English
Font: Times New Roman, 12 point
Line Spacing: Double-spaced throughout
Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides
Page Numbers: Consecutive, starting from title page
Manuscript Structure
1. Title Page (First Page)
- Article title (concise and informative, maximum 20 words)
- Author names with superscript numbers for affiliations
- Complete affiliations: Department, Institution, City, State, PIN Code, Country
- Corresponding author's email and contact number
- ORCID IDs of all authors (if available)
- Word count (excluding references)
2. Abstract (Second Page)
- 150-250 words for research articles
- Structured format: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions
- No citations in abstract
- Keywords: 4-6 keywords, alphabetically arranged
3. Main Text
- Introduction: Background, literature review, research objectives
- Materials and Methods: Detailed methodology, study design, data collection, analysis
- Results: Present findings clearly with tables and figures
- Discussion: Interpret results, compare with literature, implications
- Conclusion: Summary of key findings and future directions
- Acknowledgments: Funding sources, technical assistance (optional)
- Conflict of Interest: Declare any conflicts or state "None"
4. References
- Use APA 7th Edition style
- Alphabetically arranged by first author's surname
- Include DOI when available
- Minimum 15 references for research articles
- Verify accuracy of all citations
Tables and Figures
- Number consecutively (Table 1, Table 2; Figure 1, Figure 2)
- Provide descriptive titles above tables and captions below figures
- Submit figures in high resolution (minimum 300 dpi)
- Preferred formats: JPEG, PNG, or TIFF for figures
- Tables should be editable (not images)
- Cite all tables and figures in the text
Citation Style (APA 7th Edition)
In-text citations:
- Single author: (Smith, 2020)
- Two authors: (Smith & Jones, 2020)
- Three or more: (Smith et al., 2020)
- Multiple citations: (Smith, 2020; Jones, 2021)
Reference list examples:
Journal article:

Ethical Requirements
- Originality: Manuscripts must be original and not published elsewhere
- Plagiarism: All submissions must be declared to be having less than 10% simillarity index (or as per UGC guidelines)
- Ethics Approval: Research involving human participants must have ethics committee approval
- Informed Consent: Required for all human subject research
- Data Availability: Authors should be prepared to share data if requested
- Authorship: All listed authors must have contributed significantly to the work
- Conflicts of Interest: Must be disclosed transparently
Review Process
JSSL employs a double-blind peer review process:
- Initial screening by Editor-in-Chief (3-5 days)
- Assignment to Associate Editor
- Peer review by two independent experts (3-4 weeks)
- Editorial decision: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject
- Revised manuscript review (if applicable)
- Final decision and acceptance
- Copyediting and publication (2-3 weeks after acceptance)
Publication Charges
JSSL is committed to open access publishing. There are NO article processing charges (APC) or publication fees for the Members of Tipra Academicians' Forum. However, a nominial fee of Rs 500/- may be charge as publication fee for the Non Members of the Forum. The journal is supported by the Tipra Academicians' Forum to ensure financial accessibility for all authors.

Authors retain copyright of their work. All articles are published under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing readers to freely share and adapt the work with proper attribution.
